Pequenakonck Elementary School (PQ)

We are a goal-driven organization with a clear and focused vision to improve student learning. Our work is anchored in the Profile of a 5th Grader, which guides our efforts to ensure every student reaches their full potential. We believe success is built through strong systems, aligned practices, and a shared commitment to excellence.

At PQ, we are deeply committed to curriculum and instructional excellence. We focus on the fundamentals, not fads, and use clear structures to ensure all students receive high-quality instruction. As a results-oriented school, we continuously reflect on our practices to drive meaningful outcomes for every learner.

We also believe leadership is developed at all levels. We empower staff to lead within the building while fostering those same leadership skills in our students. Character, discipline, integrity, and emotional regulation are essential skills we intentionally teach and reinforce, knowing they are critical to both academic success and future readiness.
