    Community Book Club

    Tuesday, February 24 at 7:00 PM at the Middle/High School Library

    Whether you've read the book or are just curious about the topic, all are welcome - families, students, teachers, and community members. Thanks to the generous donations from the MSHS and PQ PTOs, copies of The Disengaged Teen: Helping Kids Learn Better, Feel Better, and Live Better are now available at MSHS. National Honor Society members will be providing childcare during the program.

    Please fill out this RSVP and share it with anyone who might be interested in attending.

    The North Salem Central School District Board of Education will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.  The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on proposed changes to the District’s Code of Conduct.

    The hearing will take place at 7:30 PM, January 21, 2026, in the North Salem Middle/High School Library located at 230 June Road, North Salem, NY.

    The revised Code of Conduct is available on the District’s website: www.northsalemschools.org.   The public is also invited to communicate comments via email boe@northsalemschools.org, or in writing by addressing them to the Board of Education at 230 June Road, North Salem, NY  10560

    PQ Fifth-Graders Honor Friendships and Learning at Graduation

    In front of a crowd filled with joyful families, the fifth-grade students of Pequenakonck Elementary School walked across the stage to receive their certificates of completion. They reflected on their experiences in elementary school, sang heartfelt songs, shared memories and photographs, and took their first steps toward middle school, eager to embrace new challenges ahead.
